I had a hard time designing the base for the table and played around with several different ideas. In the end I decided to keep it very basic and draw the attention to the table top.
Here is a first attempt at the table design. I came up with the shape and then I knew I wanted to use glass and concrete with a steel frame, but I played around a lot with the proportions.
